Located at 53 Ekkamai Soi 12, Sukhumvit Soi 63, Vanilla Cafe is a lovely cafe in Vanilla Gardens which serves fusion Japanese-Italian styled cuisine.
Prior to the trip, I have actually emailed them regarding my reservation and the request was attended promptly. Thumbs up for such good service overseas!
The cafe has 3 levels and each level was decorated with vintage items and books. The first floor of the cafe however was just a counter as well as the payment cashier. The cafe also sells their own merchandises, like candles, etc. which are awesomely classy looking!
The Spicy Spaghetti with Crispy Pork Knuckle was an item not to be missed!
The Pork Katsu Udon on the other hand, which was served in a small stove, was so delicious.
The stock was in fact one of the best I've ever tasted! Not too sweet, nor was it too salty. We found out that the chef had used radish to produce the sweet soup stock as there was huge chunks of radish and carrots in the soup itself!
Overall, Vanilla Cafe is definitely one of the must-visit cafes in Bangkok!
