Café. Waiting. Love (等一個人咖啡) is a cafe located in Taipei, Taiwan. This is also the actual filming location for the film "Café. Waiting. Love (等一個人咖啡)".
According to sources online, the cafe was initially built solely as the film set for the movie.
The moment I stepped into the cafe, I was so excited. The storyline and characters of the movie flowed throughout my mind, partially because the cafe was filled with props and pictures from the movie.
Menu wise, Café. Waiting. Love had an extensive range of coffee and drinks to choose from. Prices was a little tad expensive compared to other eateries in Taiwan. However, I wouldn't complain too much since it's the cafe from the actual movie.
Food items on the menu also had interesting names (most are a series of Chinese idioms/sentences related to the movie).
On my visit, I've decided to order "老板娘特调" (translated as Lady Boss Speciality) and "告白需要勇气" (translated as Confessing Takes Courage).
I was then informed by the waiter that the "老板娘特调" was served cold, unlike the usual hot one. Just a note: each diner is only allowed to order the "老板娘特调" once.
The iced version of the Lady Boss Speciality has a strong flavour of lime in it. Yet, it wasn't too sour and actually paired pretty well with the coffee.
The main, was a sandwich bread with Bacon, Tomatoes, Mustard, Mayonnaise and Lettuce, served with Potato Mash and a bowl of Fruit Salad.
Overall, the food was pretty much on par with the Singapore cafes' standard. But the atmosphere and service was the thing that's worth remembering from the trip.

Kopitiam by Wilai is located in Phuket Old Town at 18 Talang Road, Amphoe Muang Phuket. The cafe is beautiful designed with nostalgia photo frames, wardrobes and Chinese decorations.
Phuket Old Town has quite a lot of cafes all situated in that particular area. However, the decor of Kopitiam by Wilai stood out along the row of shophouses located there. The place was not too crowded during the weekday's lunchtime when I patronised the cafe, which makes it a cozy environment to enjoy your lunch together by yourself or a group of friends.
The cafe also offers an extensive range of affordable options.
Food, as mentioned, was inexpensive. Yet, the quality of the food in the cafe far exceeds the price.
The seafood thai vermicelli salad was beautifully plated with a generous portion of prawns and squids.
The Chicken Massaman Curry was also a must-try in the cafe!
People in Thailand were generally very nice, but the service I've experienced in this cafe was way beyond what was expected. One of my friends actually paid more for the price of a mineral water and left the shop. Two minutes later, while we were in fact quite a distance away from the cafe, the cashier actually came running out of the shop and passed her back the change.
So, with such good food and service; there's no doubt this cafe has generated quite a handful of positive reviews online!

Simply Basic Coffee Shop is a cafe located at Phetchaburi 15 Alley in Ratchathewi, Bangkok.
The cafe actually stands out from other shops as their exterior is beautifully decorated.
I stumbled upon the cafe while walking back to my hotel from Pantip Plaza. In fact, this cafe is just a ten minutes walk away from The Platinum Fashion Mall. When I entered the cafe, there were rows of snacks and tidbits being stacked up neatly in baskets by the side of the entrance. You could either consume the snacks in the cafe, or takeaway. Some of the snacks could be easily found in Thailand supermarkets and were a little too pricey.
Their menu, however, was simple. It consists of just some handmade sandwiches and drinks ranging from soft drinks, coffee to tea.
I ordered the Iced Matcha Latte (Forgotten the price of it, but definitely cost less than $5sgd) and Ham sandwiches.
The Iced Matcha Latte was good. But the Ham Sandwiches was the one worth mentioning.
The sandwiches were served in traditional bakery soft white bread without the edges and were prepared on the spot and even though it was just a simple sandwich with butter, mayonnaise, ham and cheese, the sense that it was handmade with love made the food tasted even better.
Along the street where the cafe is currently located, there are a handful of popular traditional Thai massage shops; so if you happened to be at that area looking for a place to relax and recharge yourself after the massage session, do look out for this cafe!
