#2 Dong Po Colonial Cafe Review

I first heard of Dong Po Colonial Cafe on instagram and found out they are the only few cafes in Singapore which serves old school cakes and pastries.

The cafe is located at Kandahar Street and it may take quite a bit of effort if you are walking to the cafe from the nearest Bugis MRT Station.

That said, be prepared to get sunk in with the nostalgia and vibrant decorations in the cafe (including their tables)!

Moving on to the food, I had a Apple Aloe Slice Cake ($2.20) and was blown away by it's flavour. The apple and aloe vera jam didn't taste too sweet, in fact it was kinda sour which makes it a perfect combination with the fresh cream between the layers of the cake.

Dong Po Colonial Cafe also serves various set meals as well, where you could order a pastry together with a cup of tea or coffee.
