#8 Creamier Review

Creamier is a handcrafted ice cream & coffee shop located under a HDB block in the housing estate of Braddell/Toa Payoh. If you are travelling to Creamier via public transport, the nearest MRT station would be Braddell and not Toa Payoh.

I arrived at the cafe at 3pm on a weekend afternoon and it was pretty crowded. As there was quite a limited amount of tables provided, you might have to grab a seat with someone else.

The cafe serves a wide selection of ice cream ranging from common flavour like Cookies & Cream to special ones like Sea Salt Gula Melaka and Thai Milk Tea.

The Waffle with Ice Cream ($7.50) proved to be a great deal and you could always opt in for another additional scoop of ice cream for just $2.50.

I had an Earl Grey Lavender ice cream on top of the waffle and the ice cream was really flavourful. The Earl Grey left a smooth and lingering taste on my tongue and neither the Earl Grey or the Lavender was too overpowering in taste.

The Belgian waffle was served in 2 pieces which makes the dish good for sharing. The waffle itself was quite well done. It has a buttery flavour and was crispy enough on the outside, but a pity that it was not very fluffy inside. However, no doubt it was still a great pairing with the ice cream as well as the maple syrup and chocolate sauce.

All the ice cream from Creamier were handmade and if you are lucky enough, they have different seasonal and limited edition ice creams available occasionally!
