Quarter to Three is located along the street of shophouses at Tanjong Pagar Road. The cafe is a short walk away from the nearest Tanjong Pagar MRT Station.
I arrived at the cafe at around 2pm and the cafe was generally empty at that period of time. But what greeted me when I entered the shop was their huge wooden table, which thus means that a large group of friends would not be having a hard time squeezing at a small table compared to several other cafes.
I had an Iced Vanilla ($5.90) and was told by the waitress that the drink is actually made up of coffee with a hint of vanilla in it (I didn't quite get it, but I just ordered it anyway). In the end, the drink really turned up to be just like a vanilla flavour coffee but it tasted pretty alright though. Would be hoping for a drink made up of totally vanilla or milk.
The apple crumble, Apple of My Eye, with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream ($8.90) was really tasty! The apple filling of the beautiful crumble wasn't too sweet and the crust was really good. Together with the scoop of vanilla ice-cream, it's a perfect match!
The cafe has also recently introduced a "newly-made girlfriend" to Apple of My Eye, called "Step Inside Love", a pinkish tall cake with of cherry-cheese frosting over a warm lemon sponge. Do give that a try as well!
If you are thinking to drop by a particular cafe to have a nice tea break or catch up session with your friends, this might be a good choice for you!
